The Lisa Project strikes again downtown. Woody Woodpecker is approximately one subway car length across the street from Keith Haring’s NYC apartment at 328 Broome Street. The Bronx mural graffiti legend John CRASH Matos told me he was close friends with Keith and used to hang out with him creating art. He recalled they commissioned a piece in Paris back in the 1980’s.

CRASH’s color patterns forever pop!! Big props to Tats Cru’s youngest member BR163 for crushing his fill ins. It was epic capturing Behind The Scenes watching CRASH outline his mural. His form is unique and masterfully colored with Bronx Tats Cru precision. The Lower East Side continues to glow with legendary Bronx colors.
